The Objectives of Module 5.1

  1. Understand the functionalities of the General tab of Yoast SEO’s Search Appearance settings.
  2. Set the title separator for your SEO title.
  3. Set the SEO title and meta description for your site’s homepage.
  4. Change the settings that determine what shows up in your Knowledge Graph Card, if you have one.

The Objectives of Module 5.2

  1. Understand the functionalities of the Content Types tab of Yoast SEO’s Search Appearance settings.
  2. Determine whether or not you want search engines to show your content in the search results.
  3. Understand the functionalities of the Media tab of Yoast SEO’s Search Appearance settings.
  4. Explain what attachment URLs entail and why they are not useful in most cases.

The Objectives of Module 5.3

  1. Explain what taxonomies, categories and tags in WordPress entail.
  2. Understand the functionalities of the Taxonomies tab of Yoast SEO’s Search Appearance settings.
  3. Explain what archives in WordPress entail.
  4. Understand the functionalities of the Archives tab of Yoast SEO’s Search Appearance settings.

The Objectives of Module 5.4

  1. Explain what breadcrumbs entail and why they are important.
  2. Understand the functionalities of the Breadcrumbs tab of Yoast SEO’s Search Appearance settings.
  3. Understand the (importance of the) functionalities of the RSS tab of Yoast SEO’s Search Appearance settings.
