Git Lunch

Git Lunch is a virtual self-study group offered to members of Boston PHP Meetup.

Git is a free, open source, distributed version control system. In this system every developer has a working copy of the code and full change history on their local machine. By contrast, GitHub is a Git repository hosting service that adds many of its own features. While Git is a command line tool, GitHub provides a Web-based graphical interface.
